Bethel Hurd

Mrs. Bethel Hurd Born May 19, 1942, and was called home on May 28, 2021. She was born in Rienzi MS to the late Eithel Hurd and Christine Hasting. Mrs. Bethel was an educator, and farmer. She loved flowers, gardening, ceramic, family union and gatherings. She worked at Mississippi Action for Progress Head Start Secretary and drove school buses for 25 years, and taught school for 35 years. Mrs. Bethel had a BS Degree from MS Valley State University "Delta Devil".

Proceeding in death is her parents Eithel Hurd and Christine Hasting, two brothers Roosevelt Hurd, and Willie Anderson Hurd; three sisters, Georgia Mae King, Norval Sally, and Ruby Brown

Mrs. Bethel leaves behind a son, Leo Green of Rienzi, MS; a daughter, Queenie (James) Christain of Booneville, MS; two sisters, Mae France Stovall of Chicago, IL and Gennie Thurman of Phoenix, AZ, and two grandchildren
