Darrick Deon Ford, Sr. was born April 18, 1971, to the late Shirley Kirk Ford and William Ford. He departed this life on February 12, 2023, at Magnolia Regional Health Center in Corinth, MS.

Preceding him in death his mother, Shirley Kirk Ford; father, William Ford; grandparents, Samuel and Mary Kirk; along with two aunts and four uncles.

He leaves to cherish his memories Vivian Johnson of Bethel Springs, TN; two sons, Johnny Johnson and Darrick Ford, Jr. both of Kankakee, IL; five grandchildren; two nephews;; a brother, Patrick Ford; a special cousin “brother” Kennon Allen Strickland and a host of relatives and friends.
