Gerry L. Allen was born on February 7, 1964. He was born to the late Marvin and Velma Allen. Gerry confessed his life to Christ at an early age, and he was a member of St. Peter M.B. Church. Psalm 73:26 tells us that “my flesh and my heart may fail, but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever.” God called Gerry home on September 14, 2021.
Gerry loved spending time with family and friends, fishing, and he especially enjoyed singing. He had a magical, pure heartfelt voice that could move a room. Everyone Gerry came in contact with was greeted with love and sincerity. He was an all-around athlete playing baseball, football, and basketball. Gerry was one of the best shortstops in baseball. Gerry graduated from Tishomingo High School. After high school he joined the United States Marine Corp to serve his country.
