Obituary

James Douglas Morrison was born in Guntown, MS on July 6, 1935 to the late Douglas and Dessie Morrison. He was a loving husband,  father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend.

He had a long career beginning at the Brickyard.  He later worked for and retired from OCI but kept a working relationship with John and Nora Stanley.  He was an avid fisher – a hobby he shared with his loving wife, Sallie Morrison, of 58 years.

James was preceded in death by his wife Sallie Morrison,  mother Dessie Morrison, father Douglas Morrison,  sisters Helen Wicks (L.V) and Ellen Beals, brother Robert Morrison,  nephew Mike Morrison and great niece Jasmine Gunn.

He leaves behind a daughter Faye Morrison, grand-daughter Gail Morrison, sister Eleanor Burch (David) of Chattanooga, TN, nephews John Aaron Gunn and Tony Morrison, nieces Paulette Gunn, Jackie Morrison and Joretta Pollard, great nephew and great niece Derrick (Janet) and Shunglas (Corinth) and a host of cousins and friends.
