Lueberta (Heavens) Davis

Lueberta was born November 14, 1939, to the late Jimmie Lee Heavens and Hattie Mae Heavens. Lueberta departed this life February 14, 2023 at Sanctuary Hospice House surrounded by her loved ones.

Lueberta accepted Christ at an early age and joined Oak Hill M.B. church. Later, she moved her membership to Pleasant Grove M.B Church and remained a member until her death.

Preceding Lueberta in death: her husband, James Edward Davis; three sons, Willie Edward Davis, Ben Allen Davis, and Johnny Ray Davis; two brothers, Leroy Heavens and Ozee Lee Heavens; one sister, Minnie Heavens.

She leaves to cherish her memories, one brother, Jim Earnest Heavens of Chicago, IL; one sister, Rosie Lee Sorrell of Rienzi, MS; four grandchildren: Cortez Edward Davis of Harvey, IL, Jarvis Jerome Beene, William Martz Beene, and MacKenzie Alexander Davis all of Booneville, MS and a host of relatives and friends.
