Naja Lafaye Robinson was born on July 6, 1979 in Flint, MI to Wanda Faye Brown and the late Eddie Southward. She gave her life to Christ at an early age. She dedicated her life caring for her daughter, nieces and nephew and she loved her family. She loved to cook and bake, and she catered and decorated several events. She departed this life on April 10, 2026 in luka, MS.
She is preceded in death by her father, Eddie Southward; brother, Patra Robinson; her grandmothers, Mary Louise Bennett and Willie Mae Southward; her grandfathers, Raymond Bennett, St. and Willie Lewis Southward; her uncle, Raymond Bennett, Jt., and her aunts, Arnetta Spears and Ezra Mae Southward.
She leaves to cherish her daughter, NyAsia Shauntee Windom of luka, MS; mother, Wanda Faye Brown (Benny) of Tishomingo, MS; sister Mayola Southward (Martel) of Corinth, MS; aunt Carletha Bennett of Athens, AL; Aunt Thresa Bennett of Tishomingo, MS; uncle Terry Bennett (Melissa) of Tishomingo, MS; uncle Herbert Lee Bennett (Francine) of luka, MS; uncle Hathaway Bennett of Tishomingo, MS; three nieces Patra Allen-Robinson, Kanosha Southward and Za'Cari Southward; one nephew Kylan Elliott, and a host of cousins and friends.
