Osborne Parker Mitchell, Jr.

Osborne Parker Mitchell, Jr. died Sunday, January 9, 2022 at North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo, MS. He was born April 16, 1959 in Iuka, MS. Osborne "PeeWee" Mitchell was baptized at First Missionary Baptist Church as a young child, and lived most of his life in Iuka. He graduated from Iuka High School with the Class of 1978. He worked for many years at Town and Country Furniture and later as a general handyman and yard man, but he been disable for several years. He was an avid fan of Alabama and Dallas Cowboys football. He was preceded in death by hid father Osborne " Mickey" Mitchell, Sr. and his sister Michelle Mitchell Smith.  He leaves to cherish his memories to his mother Johnnie Mitchell, of Iuka; his sister, Faye Mitchell of Birmingham, AL; aunts, Georgia Polley (Arthur) Houston, TX, Lynn Strother of Iuka, MS, Lena Mitchell of Iuka, MS, Brenda Johnson of Atlanta, GA, and Min. Naomi Spears (Rev. James), Corinth, MS; nephews LaKendrick Smith (Ireti) of Houston TX, and a host of other family members and friends.
