Shelia Australia Robinson was born on May 3, 1953 in Alcorn County MS, to the late George and Allie Barnette. Shelia departed this life on December 29, 2019 at Jackson General Hospital in Jackson, TN. Shelia attended Easom High and graduated from Alcorn Central High School in Glen, MS. Shelia accepted Christ at an early age and joined Little Zion Missionary Baptist Church where she served on the usher board, missionary circle and worked with the youth. She moved to Jackson, TN and joined Rehoboth Baptist Church under the leadership of Pastor Patrick Tidale. While there she continued to serve as an usher.
Shelia was employed at ITT for 20 plus years. She also worked at Tecumseh and a caregiver. She enjoyed spending time with her family, traveling with her sisters and watching the Hallmark and cooking shows. Shelia was united in Holy Matrimony to J.B. Robinson and to this union three children were borns; Falisha Windom, Reggie Robinson and Janet Gore.
Shelia was preceded in death by her parents George and Allie Faye Barnette, two brothers, Henry Barnette and Harry Barnette, one sister, Lexie Miller.
