Wanda Berna Spence Patterson was born May 5, 1960, to the late James Ray “Bo” Spence and Joyce Ann Spence. At an early age he was baptized into the body of Christ at Meigg Street Church of Christ. She attended Corinth High School. Wanda was called to her eternal home with the Lord on Thursday, July 24, 2025, at Magnolia Regional Health Center. She worked at World Color for over 20 years. She loved to play Bingo. She was a San Francisco 49ers and Golden State Warriors Fan. She loved spending time with her family, grandkids and great-grandkids and helping people. She was very devoted Christian at Meigg Street Church of Christ.
She is preceded in death by her parents James Ray “Bo” and Joyce Spence; siblings Mary Beth, Clarence, Danny, Sharon, Anthony & Debra Spence; paternal grandparents Miles and Ivra Spence; maternal grandparents Ben Frank and Ora Lee Gardner.
She leaves to cherish her loving memories to her two daughters Tiwanna Jones, Murfreesboro, TN and Kimberly (Keith) Watson, GA. Grandchildren, Ryon Friar (Linda), Raven Friar (Fruquen Burdine) and Breanna Spivey. Great Grandchildren; Ray’ven Fields, Ra’Niyah Friar, Rylon Friar, Kyng Scruggs, Kha’miylah Nance, Saleem, & Mykiah Burdine. Siblings: Annette, Billy Joe (Michelle), James Raymond & ReCarol. A host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles & cousins.
